AUGMENTED REALITY APPLICATION Convent of the Jacobins

Historic Site of Rennes, the Convent of the Jacobins will become by 2016, the future Convention Center located in the heart of the City.

Before starting the renovation and reconstruction of heritage Rennes, an exhibition for a period of one month is organized to give the public an opportunity to explore the proposals of the architects who worked on this project including the successful team.

As part of this exhibition, we made an application in augmented reality iPad which allows visitors to explore in 3D the future of these places.

Through a visit based on plans of the Convent, a 3D projection on iPads allows the public to discover the new cultural and living spaces designed by the architectural firm that is currently working on the project.
